CHANDIGARH, 29 MARCH: CBM forwards Memorandum of demands to Madam Kirron Kher MP as Chairman of the Panel on Estate Office Issues constituted on directions of Supreme Court with a copy to President BJP and AEO, Chandigarh as they are part of the Panel.
The Memorandum mentions important issues like:-
1. Declaring existing commercial properties in the city from leasehold to Conversion freehold on some most reasonable charges.
2. Conversion of SCF to SCO and already allowed increase of FAR on rationalized charges.
3. Transfer of allotted leasehold property on reasonable lump sum amount instead of one third of unearned profit getting transferred allotted leasehold property.
4. Implementation of Apartment Act in the City.
5. Permission of General Trade on the Upper Floors of SCO without any charges.
6. Permission to construct First Floor on Booths and Bay-Shops.
7. Roll Back of penalty on misuse and violations to original rates.
8. Box type constructions of SCO and SCF to be permitted in the First Phase Sectors.
As some of the issues have already been recommended by the panel, we now request all the above mentioned remaining issues to be resolved at the earliest in their next meeting.
