CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Beopar Mandal (CBM) WELCOMES INCREASE IN SHOPPING HOURS MAKING IT UPTO 4 PM FOR SHOPS DEALING IN NON ESSENTIAL GOODS BY THE CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATIONAND LIMITED OPENINGS FOR SALOONS AND BEAUTY PARLOURS.
CBM LOOKS FORWARD TO FURTHER INCREASED SHOPPING HOURS SOON. CBM DEMANDS MORE RELIEF AND SUPPORTING MEASURES BY GOVT AT THE EARLIEST.
Charanjiv Singh President said though CBM demands minimum 9 am to 5 pm shopping hours for all shops till lockdown is not completely over but increase of one hour is step in right direction
Diwakar Sahoonja, Patron cum Chief spokesperson of CBM while welcoming the decison repeated support by CBM to all anti Covid measures and also all types of Relief efforts being undertaken by the Govt in its fight against Covid.
CBM is hopeful of early steps by Govt towards pending demands of priority vaccination of staff ,management and families of shopkeepers,financial assistance , self assessments of pending taxation cases and bringing need based changes in building bylaws of commercial properties to give further immediate boost to the commerce of the state.
