CHANDIGARH, 29 APRIL: The closing ceremony of an exhibition of Rare Books and Manuscripts housed in Lal Chand Research Library in DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh was held today.
The ceremony started with Nishtha, General Secretary of RAAH, the Library Club welcoming the august gathering. This was followed by Himanshi, Joint Secretary of RAAH giving a brief about the four days exhibition. Principal Dr. Pawan Sharma congratulated the students on the successful completion of four days event and wished the students a bright future. College Librarian Mrs. Deepti Madaan expressed her gratitude to the faculty and students for taking keen interest in the event. The faculty members namely Dr. Suman Bharti, Dr. Ghanshyam Dev, Dr. Kavita Anand and Dr. Aradhana Sharma shared their thoughts and views on Ancient Indian Intellectualism duly preserved in Lalchand Research Library. Students namely Ananya, Ritish, Yash also gave their valuable input. Aakash, President of RAAH Club gave the formal vote of thanks.
The event ended with Holy Gita being distributed amongst students for the efforts they put in the event. The event was the team work of library staff members and student members of RAAH the Library Club.
