Service of poor is the real service of God and Humanity: Satya Pal Jain

CHANDIGARH: Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Ex MP and Additional Solicitor General of India today inaugurated a Dry Ration Distribution for 2000 children under the COVID-19 relief work, in the Believers Eastern Church in Zirakpur near Chandigarh today morning. Ration kits comprising of 10 Kg rice, 5 Kg wheat floor, 1Ltr of edible oil etc. etc. were distributed to the children, who were present at the spot.

Speaking on the occasion Sh. Jain said that service of the poor is real service of humanity and God. He said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that all religious institutions and other organisations came forward to serve food to the needy during COVID-19. He said that it is the duty of every Indian to ensure that nobody remains hungry in his vicinity and even if one person sleeps hungry, it is a matter of shame for the entire society.

Mr. Martin Mor Aprem, Bishop of Believers Eastern Church Chandigarh Diocese said that the Believers Eastern Church is serving and helping about 75000 children through 575 projects in the entire country. He said that this Church will ensure the distribution of ration to 2000 children forthwith under the project which was inaugurated by Sh. Jain today morning. Bunty Thomas, Advocate was also present on this occasion.
