NEW DELHI: As per the prior information released by UGC, UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 results have been declared (UGC NET Result 2021). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of the UGC (University Grants Commission, UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2020 and June 2021 sessions simultaneously. The results have been announced on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. In such a situation, students waiting for the results of these examinations can check their results after entering the required details on the portal.
UGC NET Result: Check UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 Result
To check the result, candidates first visit the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. After that click on the UGC NET Result link on the home page. Now enter your login details and click on submit button, your result will appear on the screen. Take a printout of the UGC NET result and keep it for future reference.
The UGC NET exam was conducted at 837 exam centers in 239 cities across the country. Around 12.67 lakh candidates had registered for the examination of 81 subjects. This exam was conducted in CBT mode. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has jointly conducted the UGC-NET exam for December 2020 and June 2021 from November 20, 2021 to January 5, 2022.
Let us tell you that the candidates belonging to the unreserved category have to secure at least 40 percent marks to clear the UGC NET exam, while the reserved category candidates have to score a minimum of 35 percent marks. Candidates should note that each paper has to be cleared separately. In Paper 1, unreserved category candidates have to score 40 out of 100, while reserved category candidates have to score 35 out of 100. Similarly in Paper 2, candidates belonging to the unreserved category have to obtain 70-75 marks out of 200, which is the minimum marks. Moreover, it is 65 to 70 for OBC and EWS category candidates, 60 to 65 for SC and 55 to 60 for ST.
