CHANDIGARH: Members of MC coordination committee of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal (CBM) today called on Mrs. Sarabjit Kour, the new Mayor, Dalip Sharma Senior Deputy Mayor and Anoop Gupta Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh to formally welcome them on behalf of traders of city beautiful, Chandigarh.
A delegation of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal led by Charanjiv Singh, President CBM along with Sanjeev Chadha, Gen. Secy. cum Chairman, MC Co-ordination Committee, Diwakar Sahoonja, Patron cum official spokesperson, Prushotam lMahajan Patron, Radhe Bajaj Finance Secretory and Kamal Suri, Sushil Bansal Executive member and Navdeep Sharma member of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal today called on newly elected Mayor Sarabjit Kaur, Dalip Sharma, Senior Deputy Mayor and Anoop Gupta Deputy Mayor formally welcoming lthem on behalf of traders of the city in their offices respectively.
Charanjiv Singh, President CBM himself a former counsellor while presenting the formal welcome Bouquet gave introduction of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal to the new Mayor being sole apex body of traders of the city having representation of more than 125 sector markets welfare associations and trade welfare associations of Chandigarh UT and assured full support to all steps to be taken by MC to upgrade and beautify markets of the city and welfare of trading community.
Diwakar Sahoonja Patron and former president CBM said that it is proud moment for trader power and CBM in the city when wife of a CBM senior functionary Jagtar Singh Jagga is now new Mayor and son of a former member of CBM Late Rajesh Gupta is Deputy Mayor of the City A flower bouquet was also presented to Jagtar Singh Jagga a former councillor and senior member of CBM from Manimajra.
Sanjeev Chadha, Gen. Secy. put forward the social responsibility aspect of CBM which holds many charitable works and it’s important role in anti Corona campaigns by organizing corona vaccination camps in various Markets of the city
and frequent organizingn of blood donation camps, awareness campaigns and other charitable works etc in the markets by CBM.
Mrs. Sarabjit Kour, new Mayor while thanking the delegation of CBM for the welcome, invited the Chandigarh Beopar Mandal for a comprehensive meeting in near future to discuss traders issues and problems related to Municipal Corporation.
