CHANDIGARH, 24 MARCH: To pay humble tributes to Bhagat Singh, the legendary patriot, RAAH, the library club of DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh organized a Signature Campaign and exhibition of books on the theme “Bhagat Singh: a true patriot and a valiant warrior”.
Principal Dr. Pawan Sharma along with Chief Librarian Ms. Deepti Madaan and Dr. Sutapa Saryal inaugurated the program. The principal drew the attention of audience and all panel members towards the matchless sacrifices of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in getting our country free. He said a person must be capable and confident enough to stand towards the correct philosophy. He recommended all students to read his essays in the book entitled “Why I am an atheist” He encouraged the students to devote themselves to the service of the nation. Librarian Ms. Deepti Madaan, through her message, advised students not to become a victim of others’ misguidance and keep yourselves towards the rightful path.
Many students participated and penned down their thoughts in the signature campaign. The Panel student members of RAAH namely Akash, Nishtha, Himanshu, Himanshi, Vanshika, and Rahul worked exceptionally hard to make the event successful.
