CHANDIGARH, 04 MARCH: With unmatchable support of respected Principal Dr. Pawan Sharma and Chief Librarian Ms Deepti Madaan, RAAH: THE LIBRARY CLUB OF DAV COLLEGE SECTOR 10 CHANDIGARH organised a talk on HOW TO NOT GET LABELLED BY MR. VISHAL SOOD, TEDx speaker, an alumni of IIM AHMEDABAD, author of the book “THE SWITCH: FROM GOOD TO GREAT, CEO and Founder of Almabay Networks Pvt. Ltd. and founder of news channel Punjab Today.
Librarian Ms Deepti Madaan welcomed the keynote speaker and all other participants of the event. She was elated to mention that it was the post pandemic first offline event in the college. She apprised everyone about the best practices of the library and activities of RAAH. Akaash, President RAAH- the library Club of DAV college put forth the future plans of RAAH the libray club of our college.
Mr Vishal Sood in his effective talk delved on Self awareness and self actualization. According to him, Self Awareness is the most important subject of today which is not taught in any education system. He said man is a product of own values and goals and stated character as a fundamental tool of success. He talked about various exercises like SWOT, imagination of your goals and incentives, etc. The event ended with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Sutapa Saryal, member, Library Committee. Overall the session was very lively and interactive.
